Commuter Bus Fares
Effective, Efficient Service
The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) will resume operating full service on all Commuter Bus Routes effective Monday, August 30, 2021.
All riders using public transit, which includes Commuter Bus Service, are REQUIRED to wear face coverings. Riders must keep the face covering (over mouth and nose) on for the entire duration of the trip. The face covering requirement applies for all passengers, vaccinated and unvaccinated.
Effective June 27, 2021, Commuter Bus Fares was increased. Riders can find new fare rates by route zone below:

Transit Link Card will increase additional $34 same as the monthly.
Paper tickets and passes may be purchased from the Commuter Direct website at www.mta.commuterdirect.com. Commuter Bus 10-trip and monthly tickets are available at the new MARC ticket vending machines. Additionally, Commuter Bus riders may purchase one-way and 31-day passes directly from their smartphone on the CharmPass mobile transit fare app. CharmFlex 6-pack and 20-pack tickets are also available for purchase through the CharmPass app.
